Belgian Esports Federation and Benelux Clash to host a Belgian core CS2 tournament!

10/27/2026

The Belgian Esports Federation and Benelux Clash are proud to announce their first joint venture, hosting a CS2 tournament with online qualifiers leading up to a LAN-final which will be held in the BESF Basecamp. This mixture of expertise, support network and passion will reach it’s pinnacle the 19th of December in Brussels.

The Benelux Clash is a Counter-Strike 2 tournament series built for the Benelux region, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. They run a mix of competitive tournaments and community events on a recurring monthly schedule. Every event is streamed live, cast by community casters, and open to teams of all skill levels. Their expertise will be used in combination with the support network of the Belgium Esports Federation.

The 15th November will mark the first qualifier leading up to a Best of 5 LAN-final hosted in the heart of Europe. On the Tour and Taxis site in Brussels in the BESF basecamp 2 teams with a Belgian core will duke it out for pride and glory only a week before Christmas.

Lea & Frederik (BESF): “We want to help the BeNeLux CS2 region as much as possible. ESL deciding to get rid of their regional tournaments really left a big gap in the competitive scene. Where most regions found a way to recover Belgium seemed to struggle, causing a hole in the ladder to make it from a casual to a competitive player. But unfortunately we do not have much experience hosting tournaments and that is where Aparino from Benelux Clash comes in.”

Aparino (Benelux clash): “My motivation to run the Benelux Clash was the same reason why Lea and Frederik reached out to me, to fill a gap in the Benelux scene on the competitive side of things. I have been hosting my tournaments for over a year now with a lot of positive feedback and a continious growth. Lately I have been hosting online qualifiers leading up to LAN-finals and they are being enthousiastically accepted by the community. I am looking forward to host in the BESF basecamp and include the federation in this project.”

Anyone from the Benelux scene can sign up for free with their team or group of friends. All levels are welcome and everyone is free to try and grab a spot for the LAN-final in Brussels. You can sign up right now,  right here.

In case you do not want to grind your way to glory, or missed out on a qualifying spot, you can also enjoy the event as a spectator.
